For those with the 180, best access to secure a samco intake hose to the turbo?

Default For those with the 180, best access to secure a samco intake hose to the turbo?

I did mine years ago and I feel like that clamp was never all that tight. I found the hose that connects to the TIP to have split, which was causing most of my boost pressure sounds. I have since cut that hose, and working on reattaching.

I think there might also be a touch of leak where the intake hose connects to the turbo. I find it very hard to
1.) Get tools in there obviously
2.) Tighten a hose clamp because the clamp should be as close to the turbo as possible, but its almost under the horn part of the turbo, I don't feel like it is making a good seal.

Anyone have any tips, tricks and/or ways to give me better access to that location- maybe from underneath?

Default I went underneath to tighten mine, that way I could see it

Personally I had a bitch of time getting the hose on the inlet in the first place. Tried the bear hug method for tightening but just wasn't confident of it. Needed to be sure it wasn't f'ed up so I crawled underneath.

Default Kinda what I was thinking... took me a good 2 days to get it on originally!

The 180 I think is a lot harder then the 225
