Will it be a problem with my factory Bose system. I wasnt going to get extra amps and such at this time just the head unit. Will I be able to connect my ipod to it or cont to use my setup through the CD player with Jeff Bipes adaptor. Does it come with all the connections or do you have to order extra parts...Thanks for any help

Default I am on the verge of coveting the 717. My local dealer said they coud install with the TT cover in

place. I think you will also need a two channel amplifier like a KAC 7202 and new speakers. Your checkbook will be depleated.

Default I don't think replacing the speakers is necessary, but the sound qualtiy isn't as good as...

aftermarket ones. just my 2 cents :-)

Default You DO NOT need to replace everything... you can just replace the stock headunit with this unit...

Also, this unit will control an iPod with the Kenwood ipod adapter. You might need something to prevent unwanted pops when interfacing with the Bose amp.

Default The new headunit will interface with the stock bose amp using line level feeds... >>

since that is the case, you won't need to change anything but the stock headunit...
