Those with significant aftermarket radios, anyone go with the 2nd battery route?

Those with significant aftermarket radios, anyone go with the 2nd battery route?
I also want to add 2 caps to my amps (one a piece). I can tell sometimes the basslink will dim the lights under load. I just wonder how much stress is on my current battery and alternator :-/
