thrown back in seat under hard acceleration
Hello
I'm wondering if you chip a 180 fw TT do you get a considerable feeling of a push in the back when accelerating fast. I don't mean that you will be thrown back in your seat but ...
I've heard that the TT's don't give this feeling because the torque is almost a straight line instead of a peak?
Thanks

Stock torque curve = flat, modified = more 'surge'
Stock torque curve is nice in heavy traffic because there is less need for shifting.
But when performance is needed it can be annoying.

Re: thrown back in seat under hard acceleration
Most definitley! I have a APR chip and Forge DV and it definitely sucks you into the seat under hard acceleration. I loooooooooooooove my APR chip. This is what the factory should have delivered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes you do.
I've gone from a chipped 180 FWD to a now non-chipped 180 FWD due to a dealer busting. I bought the car with the chip and so got used to the "g-forces" of hard acceleration. However, now driving the significantly less-torqued stock model, I miss that neck snapping feeling.
I plan to re-chip my car when the warranty runs out.
