Default Tie-bar vs. K-Mac...I'm a little confused

I'm trying to figure out how to square out my rear-end (on the car people, and I'm a little confused as to which is the appropriate purchase. I'd need a full K-Mac because of my "D-R-O-P-P ya you know me", so it's roughly a $250 vs. $500 decision. Any input from first hand, or close second, use would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys and gals.

Default Well the full kmac has toe adjustment as well..I think thats the difference...

I've got full kmac's and they seem to be working well for half a year.

Default I don't think tie-bars alone is good enough - you also need a 1/2 KMAC. Tie bars

make very fine tuning adjustments easier, but if you are cost conscious, full KMAC is fine.

Are there any real benefits to the bars though? I mean are we talking .1% difference in adjustability and tuning, or is it exceptionally significant?

Default depends on how much you lower your suspension...

when I had my KW v2 coilovers...forge tie bars were not enough because the toe became really off after lowering the car at it nearly maximum capacity.

If you put lowering springs for example you probably could get away with only using tie-bars or 1/2 kmac.

With my setup, I have to use both.

Default I got my rear into with just the tie-bars, plus I gurantee they last the life of the car compared...

to the K-mac kits. Plus install was a lot easier too.

It's on the nubs for sure. I have H&R coilovers, and they are all the way down. I don't quite recall the total number of inches, but it looks ready to scrape the ground just sitting there. Does that help? I know I'm more than 1 1/8" like the K-MAC suggests using the full-kit. I guess, if it works okay, I could start with the full K-MAC, see where that puts me, then add tie-bars later if it still isn't enough? Does that seem reasonable?

Default sounds fine...but you will mostly need tie bars as well to get it aligned correctly if your slammed

I needed it...also AxeYrcat ran into the same issue and I believe he had H&R coilovers.
