Tire Advice

My p6000s are pretty much shot. I have separate winter tires on steelies (Dunlop M3s) but when they come off in Mar/April I will be wanting new rubber to replace the p6000s. I've wondered how much handling sharpness and turn-in I'd be losing if I went to a hi-perf all-season. Otherwise I'd be looking at maybe Potenza 750s (not too expensive and good TR ratings) or Avon 500s (cheap, apparently quiet and good wet traction/handling acc to TR).

looks better, better rim protection (considering the pirellis have no real rim protector - scuffed one of my lms with the 225s).

I stick to summer tires these days, but I can get away with it living in south Florida. As to what it's like, it's a lot like when you have a really slutty girlfriend you love to hump, and then get one of those prim and proper chicks that is probably the safer bet in the long run, but nowhere near as much fun.
