Tire experiences: Dunlop SP8000 vs. Pzero or Kuhno?
#2
i went from sp8000's to pzero assim (not rosso)..
the pzeros are a lot louder, and much software. however, they provide much more grip than the sp8000s.
if i were to make the choice again, i would not get pzero's - they're low treadwear rating (140) indicates that these probably won't last that long. and the road noise is too high.

Jason, thanks for taking the time . . .
to give an opinion.
Need to re-tire the Pantera . .
Kuhmos are 1/2 the price of Pilot sports, so I thought Kuhmo or perhaps the Dunlops.
motor gently,

I have P Zero Rossos and they are nearly silent...
I replaced the RE040s with the Pirellis and they have exceeded my every dream of quiet grippy performance. Go to tirerack.com and read some of the online reviews. The tire was designed as a max performance tire with an emphasis on quiet operation (probably because the original P Zero Asymmetrico was such a noisy tire).
