Default TIRE mounting in DC area question

when the time comes for changing back to my summer tires can anyone recommend a good place in the DC area to get this done and which doesn't cost an arm and a leg? HBL did it but left my wheels as dirty as heck.

I think mounting things anywhere is not appropriate, DC may be the exception =D

Default Try one of the Sponsors of the Quattro Club

Curry's Auto & Dr. John's come to mind. I hear that they charge about $30-$40 per wheel. A little expensive, but they do it right and you don't have to worry about them scratching your wheels.

If HBL did a good job, except for getting your wheels dirty, I would say that you are way ahead. Many others have had far worse experiences with them and other wheel/tire shops.

If I were you, I would go ahead and buy a second set of wheels to use as a winter set, so you don't have to go thru this twice a year.

BTW, I have a set for sale...email me if you are interested and I'll send you pics of the wheels.

Don't use Mr. Tire in Arlington. Although they are a Tire Rack installer, I had a horrible experience with them. They mounted a directional tire the wrong way (I guess the big arrow embossed on the sidewall wasn't clear enough) and the valves on two tires were not properly installed.
