Default Tired of the TT

Ok, I have to admit it, this summer is not bringing me joy in the TT. Too many on the road. THe second generation owners here in Seattle do not wave anymore. I think it is time to get rid of it, and just drive the allroad. (Of course if I turn in the allroad this fall on one of them nice new A8's, I would be happy.) Besides, why do you need 2 cars when you are single?

Default Well...

There are more TTs on the road. Maybe the owner's aren't quite as cozy due to the greater supply and frequency of TT sightings.

Perhaps the design, while still stunning, isn't quite as eyebrow-raising as it used to be, though I still get a thumbs up every now and then.

Still, I love driving my TT and everyone I know loves to ride in it. Sure, I could use a bit larger trunk, or a better subwoofer, or maybe even a retractable spoiler.

I've never driven an allroad, but I can't imagine it would compare to the fun I have taking a hard turn at a high speed.

So I guess you've got to do what you've got to do. Personally, I'm still having a lot of fun with mine and am now that a lot of the bugs seem to have been fixed, I'm not thinking about a replacement. Good luck with whichever choice you make.

Default Bummer.... : (

That is one nice roadster.
On the positive side, it is nice to know you're sticking with Audi!

Default How do you get tired of adrenaline...

A year later...I swear I still get heart palpitations when I crank it up...when I drive it to work on Fridays, I drive right on by the coffee stop...hell, who needs caffeine when the TT endorphins are kick'n in. This silver roadster is a magnet...I constantly find people (mostly women) walking around the car staring, wanting to fondle and massage it...seriously, I never seen anything like it...Corvettes don't do it...Boxsters don't do it... nothing like a TT!! grantt
