Has anyone fitted these beautifull tires on his car ? If yes, can you post a picture ??? I am driving this tire on a Mini and it is a perfect tire, like glue on the road..
But it is not possible to buy this tire in Germany, how it liooks in US, can you buy the tire ??

Thanks

Default I know several people with Yokohama A032 R tires...but not for regular street use

Yes, we in the US can easily get Y032R tires from Tire Rack and Discount Tire Direct. They are actually pretty cheap as well. I think they were $135/tire (US) for 225/50/16 size (or thereabouts). They are not a tire I would put on a car for daily street use. The people I know that have them ....use them for track tires. They are REALLY noisy tires...lots of road noise. It would be very annoying to have these on the car for every day use.

Just my opinion.

Default A guy at work here runs them on his street-driven Miata....

He's a real Miata "nut" with two Miata's...one for autocrossing and one for commuting.

He runs these Yokohama tires on his commuting Miata, which is his daily driver. He told me that they can get a little "sketchy" in the rain but otherwise he's had no problems with using them on a daily basis.

Default I considered these for my Miata too, but went with Potenza RE71's instead (more)

After talking to a lot of A032 drivers of Miatas, and driving one, I took a chance on the Potenza RE71's for my Miata (replacing the OEM Yoko's) based on favorable reviews in the press and on Tirerack. All I can say is WOW! They're stickier than superglue on dry pavement, and almost as good in the wet. I think they're the best all around 3-season tire out there right now for light sports cars, at least in my experience and from what I've read. I won't hesitate to replace my OEM TT tires with these when they wear a little bit.

The only drawback is they're pretty expensive (upper mid-range or lower upper range, I'd surmise), especially when you consider the life expectancy.

Good luck!
