They pick on you because they want you to be able to enjoy life, Hitting someone at those speeds is not enjoyable by any means. Like I posted on your thread, Going fast and having someone not noticing how fast you are going and getting in your lane, then doing everything in your power not to crash is all it took for me to realize that speed on public roads is no fun, let this be the one for you. This coming from a 19 year old. Don't read too much into what people say, just take the advice that they give you and learn. We all need a push in the right direction some times, Be safe and have fun.

actually we do.....the main exit for me to get into downtown has a 2 lane exit with a 45mph speed limit.
alot of the time there's also a cop right at the top of the exit....
fun stuff though. those extra 8mph REALLY make me feel like an F1 Champion. HAHA

we don't want to lose a forum member via a nasty accident!
I've been there, done that... and its no party. My sister rolled her vehicle and she wasn't going speeds anywhere near yours... flipped several times, tossed her out and then landed on her. She was dead when they found her but brought back. My family and I spent 8 months of hell at her bedside in ICU but I'm sure it was nothing compared to what she was experiencing.
