Default Too much boost on part throttle

I noticed today that i'm making too much boost part throttle. It usually stays at 5psi and today I noticed it it began rising a little past 10 before I let off the throttle. It seems at a certain point it will stay at 5psi but just a hair more and it will creep past. I tried unplugging the MAF and it made no difference. Any ideas?

Having too much boost is like being too skinny or having too much money.

Default this is too much boost on part throttle though! If it was full throttle then it would be different!

I don't want to end up leaning out!

Is it normal? How much boost do you make part throttle?

Default Pretty subjective. Part throttle depends on weather, incline grade, speed and wind resistance, temp

and slightly happy right foot

A joke on a friend as we rode on another stage III A4 watching his boost guage was - check it out. His part throttle at 0 boost is full throttle on my A4 on your Quattro Coupe

Did you suddenly notice a jump up in boost? How about perceived power? If you have a VAG, you should be able to check O2 numbers if you are leaning out.

And you normally only get 5 psi on part throttle? Maybe whatever was broken is now fixed?
