Default Meh indeed.

I mean it as a joke, that despite the fighting the mod fight, the TT just has some absolute performance limitations.

The Z06 is kicking everything's *** these days but it doesn't mean I want one. For me, a car is about tangibles and intangibles; while the 'vette's performance is astounding, it is lacking in too many areas. Same with the S2K.

Yea. The Z06 could be a nice track only car though.

Default It wasn't like he got up and walked away from me...

but he did pull. His car was slightly faster. Now from a dead stop at a light or something, running from 0-60, or 0-80 even, the story may have been different. I've always felt really good about how my car does in stoplight to stoplight situations. At 70-90 in 4th, though, he was visibly increasing the gap between us.
I'd also add that he did better in the afternoons when the temp was in the low 80's than he did against me in the mornings when temps were in the 60's.
