Default Traction Control and ABS lights come on, what could it be?

If i accelerate quickly through third gear or hit some bumps while cornering or launching my traction control light and ABS light light up and stay on. I had the longitudinal/lateral acceleration sensor(s) replaced but it did no good. from a search it looks like TTAGZ had a similar problem. Can someone guide me through a diagnosis so I can get (or reinstall) the right part to fix this?

The car is a 2001 180bhp QM

I've had that and it was the ABS sensor. Tough part to get out, ended up being a CPO repair for me.

Default got the same thing going on, you need to vag it to make sure but its either

Wheel speed sensor (AKA ABS sensor), Or longitudinal / lateral acceleration sensors.
