I got the wheels redone by the Chicago Wheels America company. Dropped the wheels off around 3pm on Wed. and they had them ready by lunch on Thursday. These wheels had seen 4 Chicago winters, curbs in the snow, and were pitted by road salt and harsh brake material. One was even dented on the inside flange and had a little vibration. Now, they are just absolutely gorgeous and run smooth as silk. This is like getting brand new wheels all over again. This time I will be much more careful.
Don't ever though a wheel away if it gets dented or cracked. These guys can work miracles on wheels and give lifetime guarantees.
Cost me $90 per wheel.

They have all kind of tricks for repairing. If you call the place in Chicago, talk to Carlos and tell him you want part of the group buy at $89 per wheel and send them to him. Tell him John from Chicago told you.
After straightening, they then put it on a CNC machine and very lightly machine a new surface. They repaint what needs repainting and then they powdercoat a clear coat on.
Can't beat a lifetime guarantee on the finish.

One of my OZ SLs had a little gouge out of the rim from the tire place, so they had me take it to be repaired. That wheel later cracked & I'm conviced it was because of the repair process. The SLs are some sort of weird alloy though, as I recall. When I had one of my fat fives repaired it was fine.
