Yes it is - at least in Coupes.

Default Anyone know how o reenable it?
Is there any way to enable it? It's one of the few things that bothers me aboue my TT.

Default Believe dealer can code it in. But I talked w/ Bose re the TT system and they said the 2 woofers in
back part of coupe are nondirectional so no fader is needed.

Well, that is their story.

Yes in my roadster -- both with Bose coding and with 'MegaBass' coding..

Default The bass & treble response can be re-coded to "Mega" or "non Bose"...
but the fader cannot be re-coded or enabled.

Default Stand corrected . . so how does one go MEGAbass? Dealer put TT radio in my A6 once and tried to
recode, could not do it, but claimed tech w. knowledge wasn't there, when I returned they said they could recode it, but they still gave me a new radio.
