Is it true that the fader is disabled in the stock Bose system?

I'll try to find the exact code for you - I had to ask here and bring that info to my dealer...
because they claimed they hadn't heard of it. BTW, after 6 months of "megabass" coding, I'm going back to standard Bose.

Bose can say what they like but...
3 different people have gotten in my car and asked if I had the fade adjusted to the front. I'd rather have the option of fine tuning it myself.

Doesn't it make sense that if woofers are in back then higher freq will show up front? I'd like to
fade it myself. one solution may be to have your dealer put a roadster radio in the car - may be a simple solution since it does have fader.
