Check the spare tire tools. There's also a compartment in the right rear. Hit it.

nope.. Ive removed mine also... still there.. its the rear trim in the hatch..

1) Remove privacy shelf 2) check spare, jack etc 3) fold down rear seats

sometimes the seat rattles sound like it's the hatch - try these simple things first.
