Trunk Rattle. Latch tightening or Rubber stops?

Hi I searched the FAQ and found out that the most common sources of noise are latch tightening and the rubber stops. I recently noticed that the trunk was actually lifting about a 1/4 of an inch over some slight bumps in NYC. It was enough so that I could see light through the bottom half of the trunk and the hatch. I'm assuming that i need to tighten the latch. How would I go about doing this? I can't seem to find instructions in the Search.
Thanks

I had that happen to me last month. I just tightened the latch and it hasn't happened since.
I prolly didn't do it the "correct" way, but I just went at it with a couple flathead screwdrivers to pry the liner out and then used an allen wrench to tighen it. Pretty simple.

On the hatch. With a torx wrench, loosen the 2 bolts and move the latch assembly up a bit. There are reference lines there to help you with the adjustment. Adjust, try, adjust, try til you get it right..

Insert an Allen head wrench (sorry, forgot what size) up into the center of the stop. Hold the stop with one hand and loosen with the other, as you don't want to lose your reference/starting point. Once the stop is loose, pull out several notches (it's indexed) and retighten.
