Trunk Sensor/Latch Disarming Alarm??

Trunk Sensor/Latch Disarming Alarm??
Hey guys,
Wanna thank the guys that helped me with the broken battery questions. It was a fuse.
But I have one more thing that keeps pissing me off.
Recently, the trunk light has been coming on all the time when I open my doors. The trunk opens as well. Ever since this trunk problem ( i dont know if it was a latch or the sensor please clarify if u can), the alarm doesn't work. The red lights don't flash. These problems happened the at the same time. So is the trunk related to the alarm in some way??
o and the trunk and doors do close with the remote.
