Trying to set up a Track Event at Willow Springs Big Track
Hi All,
I'm trying to set up a track event at Willow Springs big track. I'm trying to provide instructors for those who wants them, and get everyone as much track time as possible. This is NOT a racing event, but a driving event. I'm trying to keep costs down (depending on how many people sign up) hopefully about $150 per day. I would like to do this around the end of August.
All those interested please email me for details.
Thanks,

Re: Late Aug temperatures will likely be 100+ with track temp
135+. The resulting extreme heat cycling can cause a tire to harden and loose traction for the remainder of its shortened life. Extreme heat also places turbos at risk. I also believe the big track requires SCCA approved roll bars for roadsters while the smaller (Streets of willow) does not. I recommend choosing a cooler time of year.
