Default TT 3.2/DSG vs. Nissan 350Z vs. 330i w/Perf Pack : which outperforms?

Just wondering what your opinions are regarding this comparison. Showroom condition; no mods in otherwords...

I've test driven the TT/DSG; love it and plan to buy, but how will it measure up say 0-60, 0-100, braking, slalom, etc. Any other pros/cons in general?

Apologies if this has been discussed to death already.

I keep drooling over the pics everyone keeps posting in here. I can't wait to get my TT!!

Default its really between the Z and the DSG TT... (more)

I've driven the snot out of both and I favor the DSG TT for the DSG itself, and the AWD. The Z is a great car but unless you get the Track version the brakes are only ok, and the tire and road noise gets annoying after a 30 min freeway trip. Also worth mentioning is that the "Track" Z isn't available with creature comforts like power seats, leather, bose, nav, etc. The TT has all and its performance is pretty darn close... The TT handles well and the power-out when driving hard is amazing (thankyou AWD) and the shifts are sublime, even WOT (thankyou DSG). The only real advantage the Z has is the Brembo's and aero on the track package, and a slighly better power to weight ratio.

I'd go DSG TT.

Default What the numbers show...

hp // weight // lbs/hp // 0-60 sec
350Z // 287 // 3200 // 11.15 // 5.5
TT 3.2 // 250 // 3428 // 13.71 // 5.7
330i Perf Pkg // 235 // 3285 // 13.98 // 5.9

I agree with DeutschDriver that you need to look at more than just the numbers. The style, fit and finish of the TT is great. If you want fast, look at a 225TT and mod it up.

Default the factory number for 330i is like 6.5, and no way it's more than 7

coz the number for my bro's 323ci is 7.1... how could 330 be slower than that

and the 2004 performance package gives 330 even more power
