I have one of the 3.2's and have NO reported problems as of yet. Seeing so many topics about problems is pretty interesting. Has anyone seen an actual report or recall from Audi other then all the hear say.
Granted there will be some issues, but all I keep hearing about are 'so called' major problems.
Lets hear from those who have them.

I think they are just being cautious. IN light of the Auid 5000 problems, and how bad that hurt the company, the last thing the need is to have more "transmission" problems.
Also the Coil Pack and S4 problem are just another thing to make the very cautious about everything.

I had a rattle coming from the back. It turned out to be the rear seatback wasnt fully locked into place. Sometimes the Homelink system needs to be more directly aimed at the garage door sensor. I have to slow down more than Im used to for speed bumps. Another problem I have is that some dont appreciate my sense of humor.

I've been on this forum for a very long time, thus the name EighTT for AudiWorld user number 8.
When these problems crop up, there is ALWAYS someone who writes, "Hey, I haven't had any problems" with the implication that the problems therefore do not exist. Of course, the 3.2 has only been here for a few weeks, so I'm not sure that such a survey is very meaningful anyway.
Here's the bottom line.
The 3.2s are on hold due to problems with DSG. You can take that to the bank. Does that mean that the cars are pieces of crap? Of course not, but there is a pre-call going on, which is a lot like a recall, but it occurs (mostly) before the car is released.
My TT is at the port 15 minutes away yet it will probably sit there for as long as 6 or 8 weeks. Why do you suppose that is? It's apparently because of some flaw in the DSG, either software related, hardware related or both.
So that's the deal. The problems exist and they are real. Hopefully, they will be properly addressed by Audi. However, these little polls do not change the fact that the 3.2s that have not yet been released ARE on factory hold and there is a reason they are doing it. If anyone gives some other "cover story", don't believe it.
