Where in the hell did I see a car saying this? Was it a JB movie? Or Austin Powers? Or was it some commercial?<p>But seriously - can the panic sound be powered to an alternative data source like an amplified loop recording? I would kill for a panic button to warn "Please, Step AWAY From the Vehicle".

That's because most dimbulbs can only look at a new design in terms of what they're already familiar with. 9 times out of 10, when somebody sees a brand new car at some point they'll say "that looks something like a (fill in the blank.)" The surprising thing is how often there's no resemblence whatsoever to what they're talking about!
