Default TT colors...

I saw a black on black in a show room today, and I was blown away. I used to think that the silver w/black interior was the best color, but the black looks terrific on the TT.

I have the all black with tinted glass. Pictures do not do this car justice since it absorbs light and not reflects light. Tis is why they show the silver in pictures.

I currently have a black Miata. Waiting for my TT next summer. The black looks great when it is clean and polished, but bad when it is dirty. It rains a lot up here in Seattle, so after it rains it looks spotty. A friend of my said he would only own a black car if he had his own personal detail shop. I was hoping that the TT would be available in yellow, but no one is sure. Otherwise I am getting the silver or grey.

Default My salesman knows nothing, zip, zero...about future models (more)

Your salesman knows things about the 2001 models? Mine doesn't even know when the 225s or the roadsters are coming, or whether they will be 2000 or 2001 models, let alone what colors they'll be or what options available. He says he can't order a 225 or roadster either, not even a 180Q because Audi keeps everything a secret. He says all car companies do this. Yet, I see here that many of you have put deposits and/or actually ordered 225s and roadsters. I'm in NJ--are you guys all on the west coast or something? How come your dealers know so much more than mine?
