Default TT delimma !!!

I don't know if this is stupid but i'm kind thinking to get a used 225 TT Coupe and slightly mod again .

I own roadster before but now thinking to get the coupe .

Or wait till the new TT coming out ?

All suggestion are welcome.

Default I'd wait...

you've already got a nice weekend toy, TTs aren't getting any more expensive and the mk2 TT will only help in that respect (from a buyer's perspective). A test drive in the mk2 might convince you that it's that much better than the current platform and that it's a better place to start. If you don't like the mk2 there will be plenty of 225s available and who knows, by that time APR stage3 might even be available for it.

Default Depends on your budget...

If money is a concern, then you'll be able to buy a nice used TT for a lot less money than new. If you can easily afford spending $50k or so on a car, then I'd wait.

There will never be another original TT, whatever follows will be less by compromise.

Default While that's very true...

*If* I was going to lay out 40-50 large (more or less) I'd be highly tempted to wait a bit and see what the new TT is like. Your point is certainly well taken, but what if the next gen TT totally rocked?

He'd still have the option of buying a used "original" TT if he didn't like the new one or if the price wasn't right.
