TT design vs Boxster

Wow, some Boxster owners really don't like the TT! Read this: "Complete lack of imagination. Totally uninspired shapes. Heck, the TT, they could only come up with a shape for the front. Ultimately, the decided to just use that same shape for the back. Lazy designers. To me, the most offensive part of the TT is the hard line between the flat vertical sides and the flat horizontal top and hood sections." I own both cars, but, as pretty as my Boxster is, I really think the TT is the more original design and looks great from all angles at all times.

It came from a Boxster site asking about why the TT has a cartoon shape. This was the first post:
"I gotta ask what you guys think of, what you feel when you see one of these cars from the side?
can someone tell me what is sporty or "aerodymanic" or aesthetically pleasing about these cars?
They look like cartoon or circus clown transportation.
The Z4 is starting to look normal.
I see them and I just start to heave. I'm not even looking for different cars on the road either. I just start to blow lunch when I see them before I even realize what they are.
What is the fate of the shape of these cars?
Remember the 'wedge?' Now is the 'hump' the shape of things to come?"
Interesting point of view, huh? The thing is, Boxsters have a very classic look, and the TT does not. But owning both, I think the TT is more interesting, at least to my eye.

almost 10 yrs....the boxster community should be a little more open minded. That is the one thing about a lot of P-Car owners...they are snobs.
The boxster is a great car to drive...but other than that, you can keep it. Porsche only really started to push that model towards a 550 association over the last few yrs.....
What for the new 997....that will be something to talk about...
