Our illustrious organizer Han's has put out the call for proposals. It's been a day and nothing better has surfaced so here we go in under 500 words (per our leader)........
Scenic Greenville is located in Eastern NC. One of the poorest areas in the state, devoid of anything interesting including curvy roads. In fact, if you cut the East off from the West, it would qualify as the poorest state in the nation. Things are deceiving though...There are many things to recommend it's selection..
First, Lodging. I have already made an inquiry with the lovely, full featured Hamilton Inn and Conference center in the heart of the Hood. There have only been 2 shootings and 3 drug busts in the past month so I'm sure we can book a safe week in there somewhere. When I said Audi, they said Howdie. This is our place! And as a Bonus You can stay a whole week for the cost of one night at the Von Trappe lodge!

Food is always high on the list at TT events. If you liked the Bar-B-Q at Stowe, you haven't experienced the real thing. B's has agreed to cater our whole affair! You haven't lived until you've been to a Breakfast Pig Pickin...

Due to space limitations at B's, Jack's, just down the road a piece, will be handling the saturday night dinner and raffle. Live appearance by Bubba Jones and the ****kickers. Ample free parking:

Han's also stipulated a desire for some timed competitive events. We have several planned..
1st is the world class Nascar karting track at the Greenville Fun Center:
<img src="http://images19.fotki.com/v19/photos/7/7305/4077386/IMG_0704-vi.jpg">
Tony Stewart and the Home Depot Team (one of my personal sponsors) will be on hand to teach us the ins and outs of 3.5 hp restrictor plate racing on the Oval:
<img src="http://images18.fotki.com/v87/photos/7/7305/4077386/IMG_0702-vi.jpg">
You'll notice the cars say "No Bumping" but they don't prohibit any good old Southern Bump Drafting! Lest you think this is a woosie event, pay attention to the warnings!
<img src="http://images19.fotki.com/v315/photos/7/7305/4077386/IMG_0705-vi.jpg">
For a little more high speed action, we have made arrangements with the NC DOT for the ever popular "Slalom" style Auto-X. No getting lost on this course (You know who you are!).
<img src="http://images19.fotki.com/v315/photos/7/7305/4077386/IMG_0709-vi.jpg">
When it comes to driving, we have the bestest, straightest roads east of Kansas. No worries about wearing out those expensive tires here!
<img src="http://images19.fotki.com/v19/photos/7/7305/4077386/IMG_0707-vi.jpg">
Hans was also looking for a local charity to sponsor...I think I've found the perfect one! The "Chris Schwing ECU College Scholarship Fund". All to a good cause. You can feel good about this one...(I know I will)...:-)
<img src="http://images19.fotki.com/v19/photos/7/7305/4077386/IMG_0716-vi.jpg">
It's the little things that make the difference, and I think we've got a great car washing station lined up. The blue theme is no accident...Fast washes, alchohol served (Hint: In the Pepper machine, push the button for pink lemonade):
<img src="http://images19.fotki.com/v315/photos/7/7305/4077386/IMG_0715-vi.jpg">
As far as scenic places to visit, No trip to NC is complete without a visit to the Modshack! I have 100 words left so I'll try to come up with another place but it might be tough..

Well, There ya have it. Vote here, vote often. See ya'll next summer at the TT-East 2007 Redneck Rendevous!

I hope everyone doesn't just laugh and toss this location.
Folks need to really experience the south.
