Default TT-ECU fuse keeps blowing

My 2000 TT keeps blowing its ECU fuse after a few minutes of running. Tried disconnecting various bits to eliminate potential shorts but it still keeps blowing the ECU fuse.
Any suggestions what to do, where to look would be gratefully received.

This, according to my local Audi dealer, turned out to be the No 2 coil pack but even Audi admitted it took a long time for them to figure out what it was. The problem with this diagnosis is that the garage that tried to fix it first assured me that they had unplugged each coil pack in turn and the problem did not go away! This leaves a nagging doubt.
Having had 2 coil packs fail in the space of 500 miles with the car having done 95000 miles I would recommend changing ALL the coil packs at around 80000 miles - or when the first one goes, replace them all.
