Default TT review in Consumer Reports

Fellow TT owners,
I was quite shocked and surprised when I read Consumer Reports' evaluation of the TT. The TT received a "below par" rating overall for the car. In addition to that, Consumer Reports also branded the TT as a car to "avoid". I've had my TT for 17K miles and I have loved each and every single one of it. I love everything about the car from it's sweet engine, one of a kind design and gorgeous lines. I'm sure most of you would agree with me. Surely, such a magnificent piece of engineering does not deserve such low marks. This has to be the first and only negative review of the TT I have ever read. FYI, the A4 was also named on the list to avoid. Thoughts and comments?

Default The TT is visually stunning...

It's performance as a sports car is respectable, but this can be made much better with fairly inexpensive modifications.

Unfortunately, I don't believe the car to be terribly reliable, thus I do think the rating is not wildly unreasonable.

For those who disagree, I'd only ask if you won't be as nervous as I once your warranty expires.

"Avoid" means less chances to become a "dime a dozen"

There's a lot to like about the TT, but I try to call it like I see it.

Default yeah your right... but reliable and value for the money it is not..sure it has

great design, great interior...but things like me going through 6 mafs.. several windows, a couple of oil coolers, alarms, shocks, brakes, temp sensors, dvs, control modules, parts falling off the car... lol its a joke.. I paid alot of money for a car that at times i consider a substandard piece of ****.. sure i like it...but after the indifference and rude attitude from both audi dealers and audi corporate...no way im buying another one... ever.
