Default TT is in the shop again!!! Instrument cluster this time...

So, let's see, I have had my TT for 4 months and have had an Audi loaner car for about 1 solid month of that time. I love my TT, but please... This time it needs a new instrument cluster, seat belt, and the alignment is off. I had it in for the same problem with the guages last week and they put on new fuel sending units, only to find that they did absolutely nothing to solve the problem. Since my Audi dealer always gives Acura Integras as loaner cars, my friends have started suggesting that I just buy Integra cold air intakes and other go fast mods since I drive one of those just as much as my TT.

Default Did your seat belt stop retracting? One of the Northern CA dealers broke the retractor

somehow when swapping the cd changer on mine. They returned the car to me with the seat belt dangling with about a foot of slack--as if I wouldn't notice! And they installed the wrong changer! Jerks!

I've also had my instrument cluster replaced here in SoCal. I have to go back because they didn't install it correctly (and the tach needle still sticks).

If the TT didn't look so nice I'd . . . .

Get used to it. I told my dealer to give me my own personal loaner, always at my disposal.

Default The belt doesn't retract right, sorry to hear about all those problems...

I knew when I bought the car that TT's had a lot of issues, so they don't really bother me too much. What surprised me was the volume of problems. I am literally in the dealer once a week or every other week. But I'm sure you all have similar experiences. I can guarentee you that I will not own my TT when the warranty expires. That could get expensive.

I'd go to the dealer more often, but I always leave there with more problems.

Default Hey, be glad you have loaners...

Otherwise it would be like it was when I owned my Jeep Wrangler - the Enterprise people would start filling out the paperwork for me before I even got to the front of the line.

Nothing says "fun" like a Plymouth Breeze. ;-)
