TT speed trap in Signal Hill, Calif. ...
got a ticket yesterday on Hathaway Ave, as it turns into Obispo Ave.
The cop was hiding in a driveway tucked in between trees, and zapped me. Had me at 54 in a 40 zone. The s.o.b. used Laser!!!
FYI ... Hathaway Ave. is the road that takes you to Costco from the side. I was coming back home from running the Los Angeles Marathon, and he still gave me a ticket. If I had ***** and a cleavage, I would have been home ticket-less.

Questions : Did your radar pick him up? How close did you get when he zapped you?
Did he get you from pretty much straight on, or what kind of an angle?
What makes you think ***** and clevage would have gotten you out of trouble?

I use the "force"
as my radar. So my "force" abilities were a bit off after running 26.2 miles. He got me straight on.
The ***** reference is something my friend uses when she gets pulled over. She hasn't received a ticket yet.

Way to go Hank, I did the LA Marathon too
But on a bike (well we all have to start somewhere). Did they fix the mess at the start for you guys? When we set off there was a detour that went back on itself as they hadn't fixed the "closing" of the streets properly

Re: Way to go Hank, I did the LA Marathon too
The race didn't start until 9:15 a.m.!
A 30-minute delay because of some suspicious package on Pico Blvd. Runners were getting pi$$ed!
I don't think I'll ever run LA again. They start too late. The Maui Marathon starts at 5:30 a.m., and the Rock 'n Roll Marathon in SD starts at 6:30 a.m. The 8:45 a.m. start time for LA is just too late. I'll probably do SD next year.

Re: What kind of time did you finish with?
just over 2hrs. There were 4 of us and we just decided to take it easy as this was my 1st one. Next time I'll push it a little as I didn't get out of breath nor did my legs hurt at all. Was a lot of fun and I plan to do a lot more
