I believe this picture originally posted by someone in Mexico City last year. He took it from his kitchen window if I remember correctly. This was a custom job.

Unfortunately I'm of no help concerning Audi's plans for a sunroof - just a source for hazy memories.

The ultimate dream would be a glastop for the TT with LCD darkening option. One could then regulate the degree of darkness of the roof .......

I know that one can order hardtop outof glas to the Mercedes SL and there was an porsche 911 model with glas roof......
