Default As you probably already know, the start is everything and there are many variables to..

a good run. About the only number that remains consistent is the trap speed. That normally stays the same, or very close every run.

It all comes down to launch, fuel, and temp and humidity to break into the 5's

Default Definitely, and on top of that every car is different..

I think that's why Audi rates the car at 6.3. They have been known to be slightly conservative also.

Ross...Ive hit high 5s....but its not a very repeatable feat...about 6.0-6.2 is usual.

Default So don't you place any value on the "character" of the car, the interior, the exclusiveness, the...

feeling you get when you're driving it. In my mind the Boxster S has superior performance but not the same ownership experience and the interior is blahhh compared to the character of the TTR. I looked at both before getting my TTR and I have never regretted it.

Default You make it sound like I would give up the Coupe :o)

Let me be perfectly clear ). If I got a Boxster, it would be an addition, not a replacement. If I could only own one car, it would be the TT Coupe.

Default fine...but 5.5 as a quoted spec from a mag is ridiculous for a stock coupe

thats what an S4 does if its lucky - and an S4 will romp on a stock coupe
