who ever heard of a $40K+ sports car (Boxster) with a plastic shift boot? And that stupid analog speedometer just wastes space - should have put oil temp and pressure gages there! And those blinker/wiper controls, they feel like they're gonna brake everytime I use them! Don't even get me started on cup holders....
Alas, but we love them anyway, even with their flaws! :^)

Was at the Audi dealer picking up our A6 Avant (wife's car) last August and they had a TT coupe in the showroom. Both my wife and I thought it was real nice, but said we would like a roadster with higher output and AWD... dealer wasn't sure when, but was taking deposits. We became number 6 on the list.
Was ready to cancel in April because we hadn’t seen one or gotten word of when, and a friend who was high on the list for a Boxster S offered us his spot (He owns a '98 Boxster and had recently purchased a 356). About that time the service manager at the Audi dealer mentioned that the North American intro was taking place in town. We drove to where they were and got to see over 50 of them in all colors... we locked in our specs that day, but I still question the decision (the wife does not).
Bottom line we will take TT, enjoy it, and still enjoy the Boxster S on occasion because our friend decided to get the Boxster S. We look forward to driving the TT and trading for the Boxster S once in a while.
Life's tough isn’t it.
Thanks to you all for the input, I don’t think I could lose with either decision.
Nitt

Thanks Larry, this confirms the bad vibes I had about the local dealer service department. I will contact AoA, in the mean time I will take my business else where, and enjoy the drive.
00'180TTQC,Brilliant Black,Tinted
