Default TT West 2001 Update: Wednesday, August 1

News and Updates for TT West 2001, the Second North American Gathering of TT Owners and Enthusiasts!

August 1, 2001

New Flagship Partners!

Audi of America and Sonnen Motorcars join the list of TT West Flagship Partners! "It gives me great satisfaction to see our owners so passionate about the TT", says Pete Hamilton, Audi's TT Sales Manager. "[TT West] sounds like an excellent event to be a part of". And Sonnen Motorcars, a Porsche/Audi dealership in Marin, California, too, is "excited about being a part of TT West".

Will you be there? Don't forget: pre-registration closes September 1, so register today!

Say, Who's TT is That?

Doug Broussard, an Audi-TT.org forum member and 4 x 5" fine landscape and documentary photographer, has offered to photograph the first official TT West group portrait. But no TT group photo would be complete without a TT in the picture. Will it be yours? Someone at TT West will end up with bragging rights, because Friday evening we'll select one lucky owner's car for the portrait.

And don't forget, Doug will donate several 16 x 20" prints for the raffle and auction, and will send royalty-free digital copies to TT West attendees.

Hey, Did You Say Half Price?

Golfers can enjoy half price green fees at the Dragon during TT West. Nominated by Golf Digest as the Best New Golf Course of 2001, this exciting new course at the Nakoma Resort & Spa is likely to become a destination for golfers and environmentalists alike. Find out why and play in the inaugural TT West Classic at TT West!

Just Added: A TT West T-shirt!

Rodney VanderZand ("NauTTy"), event t-shirt designer for the gathering in April at Fallingwater, is designing a shirt for TT West! Check back soon for more news on this new addition!

And Remember . . .

There's still plenty of lodging available for TT West. Feather River has a number of one and two-bedroom cabins, and there are also one and two-bedroom cabins available at the Feather River Part Resort. And you can even rent a two, three or four bedroom vacation home through River Pines Properties. Contact Chuck Guice at ceguice@tt-west.com if you need help in finding a room.

Planning on "flying solo"? Don't mind taking a friend for the ride? Gina Castle ("CubsTTer") is coordinating car pools to TT West for out-of-town attendees. Drop her a note at gcastle@tt-west.com to sign up as a driver or rider.

Look for another update next week for TT West 2001, the largest gathering of Audi TT owners and enthusiasts in North America!

Register Today for TT West 2001!

Default Don't forget: the Feather River Inn has one and two-bedroom cabins available . . .

. . . as well as the Feather River Park Resort, which also has cabins reserved for TT West attendees. Feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions or comments, or need further assistance reserving a room.
