TT-West convoy from Texas: ATTN JoTT, 3.14ryTT, shuhTTala, and 1T42T
Howdy, folks! I'm trying to get everything together for our convoy to Las Vegas for TT-West. I got my reservations today for the Residence Inn- Hughes Center in LV today. I'm scheduled to arrive Thursday evening. Let me know what y'all think of the following as our 'plan' on how the convoy deal should work:
JoTT, shuhTTala, 3.14ryTT and I will leave from DFW early AM on Wednesday, October 23rd. We'll drive all day that day until we get to ABQ, New Mexico. We can check into a hotel there to spend the night and to give us a meeting place where the NM folks who want to join us can hook up. 1T42T (Scot) said that he would like to join up there; he suggested that we stay at the La Posada Hotel there in ABQ (http://www.laposada-abq.com/).
Up again early Thursday AM and hit the road for the final leg of the journey to Las Vegas.
Stay in Vegas until Sunday morning, then reverse the above for the trip home.
How does that sound? I'm hoping that some other folks from TX or NM/AZ will join us as we go west. I would appreciate any and all input from anyone who is interested.

hotels.com says that the rate for a single room for one night @ La Posada is $69

Do I have to actually sleep ON the dog, or may I sleep next to him? LOL
I would actually like to take you up on that offer, if you don't mind. It would save me the headache of finding a hotel in Dallas for Tuesday night.

Sorry about that, Jo -- I misunderstood when we last discussed this! I'll buy the first round @ TT-W in an effort to get myself back in your good graces!

No Sedona detour?? Only 30mi off the I-40. I'd love to take a run down there w/ yous guys.
Great place to stop for lunch. Flagstaff is about 4 hours from Vegas, assuming Hoover dam isn't crowded,(expect a long back up on any given Sunday).
