Default TT wheels in winter climates

For those who drive TTQs or TT 180s in winter climates, do you have snow tires for winter conditions, or do you use all season tires all year round? What do you suggest?

Thanks for the advice!

Default I have Sumitomo HTR+ all-seasons on my daily driver TTQR... going on 20,000 miles...

Great handling, goes in snow, on ice, no problems in the rain. Three times the tread life of the Michelin all-seasons, and 1/2 the price. I'm a happy camper.

Default All Weather tires in snow/ice/slop winter conditions are a poor compromise.

you will do yourself and your car a great favor to invest in separtae winter tires/wheeli don't just mean snow, cold also.
If your ambient temps are consistently 40-35 or less in winter, even all weather tires will not give you the traction and results you need to drive properly in winter

Default Re: what size wheel?

17 inches.. also, I know that all season tires are an option with the 17 inch tires. Are the all-season tires that come with these TTs any good, or do you normally have to go out on your own to get the top notch tires?

Default nononono

get performance tires and swap for real winter tires when the weather turns cold. It is worth it imo.
