Its all about tires, not the car (when comparing TT to an A6)
There is a very slight difference which I only felt when pushing the car in the snow (my old A4 was a little more fun). Get winter tires regardless of the car brand/type and get summer tires for the summer. All seasons are a waste of money. They suck in the summer and suck in the winter. There are some allseasons that do OK in the winter, but that is at an expence of summer traction.
