Default TTc at 20000 miles getting "lift off"

Lately my 2000 fwd TTc is getting what I call "lift off" . That is , under hard accelaration the front end lifts up in the air to a large amount then unless I shift extremly fast into 2nd it drops and then raises up under hard acceraration through 2nd. It seems to be more than I ever noticed before. I think that this is due to the oem shocks getting weak. Is this true?

Default "getting weak" -- at 20K, I'd say your OEM shocks are long gone...

I get the same thing with my OEM shocks at 16K miles, and I believe its called "squat". I can't wait to get Bilsteins.

Default Shouldn't these be replaced under warrantee?

I'm noticing a lot more roll in the corners and I can't believe that I have to buy my own solution at 11,000 miles. Audi should fix this, no?

Default sure -- but then you'd get those lousy monroe shocks again...

when you could buy real shocks instead (like bilsteins).

Default Audi wont fix the...because there is no warranty on worn out parts...to get them

fixed the shocks must actually be leaking...the fact that my shocks lasted less than 3000 miles didnt warrant a warranty fix...audi doest cover them unless the are either broken do to design failure or they are physically leaking fluid..

Default What's the point? Mine had lost their edge at 5K miles......>>

Besides, try proving to an Audi service dept that your shocks feel "weak" Test drive will reveal "condition not found" on the work order....
