Default Turbo shaft play question..
When you grab the compressor side shaft of the turbo is it normal that it can be moved a little bit, or is it supposed to be completely unmoveable ?

Default A (very) little is OK; remember that when its operating, hydrostatic pressure acts to>>
keep the shaft stable. Now, you have it out of the car, dry.

Should be unmovable. Spinnable yes, but no wobble.

a little is normal. you should NOT be able to get the vanes to touch the sides of the housing.
