Default Turbo XS diverter valve

Hi, anyone have any expericance/knowledge with the Turbo XS valves? I'm having a really tough time finding a bullet-proof solution for this. I've destroyed two stock Bosch valves, melted the piston of a Bailey, and now had a Forge sieze closed (which Pete is replacing under warrenty, thanks!).

A friend pointed me towards the Turbo XS guys but before I buy a boy-racer purple anodized piece of gear for $200 that requires an adaptor kit I'd like to know what experiance (if any) TT owners have had.

Thanks,

Default Another solution...

I have posted my thought on the PES valve over the past couple days. Had a Forge fail on me, moved to the PES valve, very similar to the Turbo XS. It has a brass piston, which, I feel is the big difference.

As far as an adapter goes, it did come w/a adapter that was an male extension for one of the outlets. Don't know if they are identical, but this was included in the $179 price.

BTW, mine is not purple<ul><li><a href="http://www.pes-tuning.com">http://www.pes-tuning.com</a</li></ul>

Default Re: Got my replacement Forge today - Mark II

The box was labeled "Mark II" and instead of the blueish-plastic type piston that is in the failed valve, the is now a machined metal piston (I'm assuming aluminium since its sliver). It also has an interesting concave "bowl" shape to the piston face, rather than the pointy shape of the blue piston.

Thanks for the info on the PES/Turbo XS; I'll give this new Forge valve a whirl and see how it goes.
