Default Turn Signal ISSUE!

Well it has been VERY cold here the past week in Western MA (ranging from -10 - 0)

I had the turn signal relay "stop working" By stop working I mean the blinkers don't go and I can't hear the relay anymore. They would blink once or twice and then the relay would just kick off and the blinker wouldn't work. Although If I manually tried to flick the signal stalk it would work again.

I thought originally that it was JUST the cold day and it would come back. It has since warmed back up (to mid 20s) and it STILL does this problem.

It is not the bulb because it will blink when I arm the car with the alarm.

Is there a guru out there who could diagnose the problem for this?

I am in DESPERATE need of figuring this out and I don't want to buy a relay if this is something that is NOT needed.

Thanks in advance for the help

Default You're almost out of blinker fluid.

That's exactly how mine were behaving just before I ran out. Eventually it'll be dry and you'll get no more blinks, time for a refill.

(BTW - Just kidding about the blinker fluid bit but that is exactly how my relay died. Impex has them for about $50, and it's an easy install)

Had the exact same problem, it was the relay. Mine had nothing to do with the cold...

Default Easy DIY or 10 minute dealer replacement under warranty.

Thanks to Rich for the good how-to:<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1193292.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1193292.phtml</a</li></ul>

Or wrong viscosity for cold weather. Check the manual for recommendations based on climate.
