Two 225/45 17" Potenza RE040's for sale!
My roommate got two(!) flats when driving my car yesterday. As many of you know the TT stock tires (Potenza RE40) are impossible to find right now. (I was told at least 10 days wait and I would have to call the tire company directly and then only if it was a real emergency). They are also way overpriced. So I'm getting a set of four new tires.
The remaining two tires I'm getting rid of. They have about 7000 miles on them. I'm thinking of auctioning them on ebay but I wanted to give my fellow TT enthusiasts on Audiworld a chance first (provided someone makes me a reasonable offer). You can buy one or both. If I only knew a couple days ago...
I got a flat on Rt. 2 near Arlington on my way up to my motorcycle class. $250 (and $100 for labor & cleaning the rubber off the wheel well) to replace the damn thing on Monday

What tires are you gettting to replace the 040's?
This is the same conclusion I came to after losing 3 tires to damage... get a cheaper tire... I am havine RE730's installed right now.<p>Ivan
