Uggg 15+ minutes on hold waiting for Tivo help ....
Silly thing won't uncompress the updates. I read there is a kick start that takes care of it but I have to call support to get it done. Now I keep hearing messages about finding the answers online ... I looked at the web site and it said to call you so answer the phone! If you had an advanced users section of the menu I might not have this problem, I'd love to take care of this my self.

I have a series 2. All you can do now is add a drive.
They fixed the file checking, so it wont run other files .... yet. I did add an 80G drive though.It's nice, and I can't wait for USB ethernet.
They told me to try giving it the Big Sleep. That seems to have worked, but it takes over a hour for it to reformat the drives and then the reload, so I did play with it much last night ... it seemed better when I went to bed.
