Default UK - Both 12-April AutoExpress and Autocar have new reviews on the TT

Sorry I don't have a scanner but..

AutoCar review a Roadster and say.."It's strange approaching a modified version of a car we could find little fault with in the first place" but say that the TT is now safer.

AutoExpress compare the modified and unmodified coupe and say of the original car.. "The TT's problem of oversteer when you lift off the throttle is actually no worse than you'd encounter on some hot hatches; but drive too fast, panic mid-bend and this Audi will bite, throwing the car sideways"
They end in saying ..."The good news is the modifications haven't ruined the TT, only made it safer for the inexperienced drivers - and less exciting for the enthusiasts."

Both are unanimous in hating the wing. I don't like it and won't have it myself, just the ESP alone first and then after a demo maybe the suspension but everyone is to their own. Maybe the proposed Audi Driver track-days for UK owners will settle this one for each of us.

...one of your avid TT newshounds
