Sorry to hear that! It looked nice too --- how'd it rust, did it get wet somehow? Also -.
Now that you've installed it, can you simply unscrew it and reinstall the stock ****? I'm assuming here that they just screw on and off - is that a correct statement?

I do have a roadster, so maybe the outside air contributed to it...
but I think its just the material the screws are made of.
More or less it unscrews and tapeing off the wires I ran. Just hope I still have all the parts. I like the feel, even though it raises the height, but to me it perfect for my arm rest, same level.
Also the **** is much heavier then stock, but I liked the heavy throw
