Default They are seriously going to try to void you ENTIRE warranty

So no part of the car is covered because of your modifications? Hmmmm....time to call your lawyer?

Default I'm working on that right now.

They made it clear that my warranty will not cover mechanical issues. If my door handle falls off, it will be a case by case. She even included the DV in the mix of things of why they will not touch the car. Dave since you have a VAG tool and everyone else that has one, please use it to remove the fault codes before taking your TT into service. Evidentlty just swapping ECUs or resetting them will not do the trick to find out what your engine has been doing.

That's correct....there is a low-voltage code recorded in the ECU when it's been unplugged

Default Case by case basis is IMHO what they should do...

While it sounds really bad, the point is that they will figure out whether the item being covered is in any way related to the mods and will cover it if it isn't. This seems reasonable, though their language is a lot scarier than it needs to be...
