Default Update: Clutch/Flywheel

My CPO Warranty is valid until 02/07. The clutch lining is of course not usually covered under warranty. However, I'm wondering if anyone here has had a dealer cover any part of a clutch /flywheel repair under warranty or otherwise due to a flywheel failure causing the clutch failure.

The flywheel is dual mass and has been known to sometimes break in these cars. I have not removed the transmission yet so I have not seen the parts. But if I see the flywheel and it is busted up shouldn't this be covered under warranty? I can't really see how clutch lining wear can cause damage to the flywheel. The CPO Warranty states that the Flywheel is covered for non-clutch failure, and this gives them an out not to cover it. However, if the flywheel damage is not due to the clutch, they should at least cover the flywheel part of the repair, no?

I should note at this point that I am not an aggressive driver, I do not dump the clutch, nor do I race. My car is bone stock. I cannot see how my driving habits could bust up a flywheel, pressure plate, or clutch lining.
