Update on dianostic charge for bad Maf. Stealer said I was charged because I had two codes only Maf-

was warrantied. The second was for secondary air flow. They found a slow leak in the Combi-valve diaphram. So they refused to rebate the charge.

The diagnostic revealed the bad maf... the maf is a warranty item.
Did you approve the repair to the Kombi Valve? It's usually a busted vac hose that causes a code. The maf probably caused a check engine light.
It's likely that the Kombi valve leak might have caused a code, but not triggered a cel. If that's the case, they shouldn't be charging you simply because they saw the fault code when they scanned the car.
